Where did our summer go? It seems like it just got here!!! Our next JOY Club theme will be a “Farewell to Summer”. Summer always reminds me of the fun times at the beach so our decorations will be a little reminiscent of those times for me.

I hope everyone has recovered from doing the Mexican Hat Dance and are busy working on the homework assignment you were given.  Everyone is supposed to come up with a song or two that has the word SUMMER in it.  We are going to see how many songs we can come up with. 

I can’t believe that the new JOY Club is celebrating its birthday in September.  That’s right — it has been a whole year since JOY was rekindled.  Sounds like a good reason to have a birthday cake!
