Trey Fox recently returned from Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended a youth conference sponsored by Youth Specialties. Trey learned much and has much to share with our youth. Please continue to lift up our youth in prayers as we continue introducing youth to Christ and the Christ way of living.

XYFC Update
September 1, 2007
On August 25th, fourteen youth had their 2nd annual “Fun Day!” We saw “Ocean Wonderland” in 3-D at the Imax and then checked out the Aquarium. They were accompanied by Paul Clayton, Trey & Chase Fox, Pastor Ray, and Donna.

Monthly Update
May 1, 2007
On April 15th, the youth were treated to a crawfish boil! Mr. Jeff Caldwell, Cresside’s father, furnished and cooked the crawfish, with all the trimmings, for 12 hungry attendees. We truly appreciate him sharing his time and chef talents with us. Thank you Mr. Jeff!

Souper Bowl Sunday
February 26, 2007
On February 4th, Souper Bowl Sunday, the youth collected 300 pounds of non-perishable foods and $127.16 for the United Churches of Algiers Food Pantry. We wish to thank all who brought food and cash for this worthy cause. The Food Pantry was grateful for the donations.
