St. Mark’s United Methodist Church extends Christ’s love each week through our Meal Ministry, providing food and fellowship to more than 100 people in need following worship every Sunday.
Algiers UMC supports this important outreach by preparing and providing Manna Bags and sack lunches. These simple but meaningful offerings ensure that our neighbors are nourished both physically and spiritually.
Our children and youth play a special role in this ministry. On the fourth Sunday of each month, they collect a “Noisy Offering”—loose change gathered from the congregation—to fund and prepare the Manna Bags. It’s a joyful sound that turns coins into compassion!
How You Can Help:
- Bring your spare change on fourth Sundays and contribute to the Noisy Offering.
- Pray for the children, youth, and all who serve in this ministry.
- Continue to support St. Mark’s and Algiers UMC as we work together to feed the body and spirit of our community.
Thank you to everyone who helps make this vital ministry possible!
